Arcadia (Arkadia) Peloponnese Greece climate differs between the mountainous and the seaside areas. In high altitude regions the climate can be characterized as continental due to the massive mountain ranges where cold winds blow and due to the periods of snowfall during winter months. Throughout summer the weather remains cool and fresh, even during daytime, and rainfalls are not a rare phenomenon throughout the year. This is why mountainous Arcadia is mainly preferred for winter trips in one of the scenic traditional settlements.

As we descend to the coast the climate is milder. The average temperature that normally does not exceed 320C, as well as the fresh sea breeze, constitute coastal Arcadia an ideal destination for a pleasant summer holiday.
